About Me

Hello! I'm Regine Thimothee, a Design Engineer on an intentional journey into experience design. My path began with a B.S. in Web & Mobile Computing at Rochester Institute of Technology, where I built a strong foundation in problem-solving and learned to think holistically about digital experiences.

From there, I joined ADP as a Software Engineer, collaborating with UX teams to build accessible React components and implement design tokens and component libraries serving 800,000+ clients. It was here I discovered the power of blending technical rigor with user-centered thinking.

Eager to go deeper into design, I completed Springboard's 700+ hour UX certification and took on a Product Designer contract at KDIT Solutions, where I led the research phase and refined my skills in wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and interaction design.

Driven by a passion for community and natural hair care, I was inspired to work on NaturalU, a hair education design project where I applied my full design process — from secondary research and scientific study insights through interaction design, prototyping, and Figma specifications — to create something genuinely meaningful.

Today I work as a Design Engineer at Giftogram, sitting at the intersection of design and frontend implementation daily. This August I'll be starting my MS in Information Experience Design at Pratt Institute — a deliberate next step as I transition fully into experience design. My goal is to bring both design thinking and engineering depth to every product I touch.
